I highly recommend this body scrub by Tree Hut. I found it at Target, and I have been using it for over 3 years now.
I did not know how honey is a GREAT agent for healthy skin. Its considered a humectant, which locks in moisture hydrating skin and giving it a smooth skin look. Another benefit of honey, it is an anti-oxidant. I love to cleanse my body of impurities, because you just feel so much better and healthier, thus why I love any thing considered an anti-oxidant. For this reason, honey can act like a sunscreen and prevent premature wrinkling. Honey, unbelievably, is used in sunscreen, so it has UVB protecting abilities.
This product contains shea butter, helping with anti-aging while promoting elasticity. The almond oil in this body scrub helps retain the natural sheen of the skin. The avocado oil helps with anti-aging signs, such as sun spots. I am telling you, this is a product you want in your daily beauty routine.
I use this Nivea Moisturizing Body Wash. I like Nivea products because they tend to be fragrance and paraben free. I also recommend Burt's Bees and Aveeno products.
This body wash also has almond oil in it as a moisturizer. It gentle when cleansing, so it does not irritate or overwhelm our body with damaging ingredients. Some soaps or body washes strip our skin of its natural moisture when cleaning. Our skin needs to be treated like silk, not like plates in a dishwasher.
I have volunteered at magazine and fashion styling shoots, where I learned the importance of the bronzer for the skin. Somehow, I never dared to buy or try some, until I accidentally squeezed a little in my palm and rubbed it all over my arms. I went into Gollum mode, "MY PRECIOUS!" My skin glowed! I was singing, "shine bright like a diamond!" and finally understood what Ri-Ri was talking about.
Bronzers hide unequal skin pigmentation, giving an even skin tone appearance. Even better, HIDES CELLULITE!! (Danza KUDUROOO).
I guess I associated bronzers with tanning lotion. The bronzers are just made to give you a sun kissed glow without actually going to the beach, or giving the "laying out for the perfect time to where you look very Jennifer Aniston in Just Go With It" look.
Bronzers can be found in lotion, spray, or mist form. You can try them out on your hand and decide which one is the right one. It is amazing how bronzers help for pictures! Remember to look for the subtle effect. A night out with the girls spritz or rub some bronzer on your legs, decolletage, and arms, instant GLAM!
If you know how to use a bronzer right, you can contour your body. Just like in makeup, you can make your thighs look wider or thinner, as well as the collar bone. You do not have to send me chocolates for that bronzing secret, just do not tell the fashion/styling industry I gave it away.
My favorite is the "accidental" bronzer, Pink Sunkissed Luminous Body Bronzer. It smells delish!
